The Immanuel Baptist Church Food Bank began with a mission to prevent hunger in Sheridan. The pantry is open once a month, on the fourth Saturday, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm as well as weekly on Monday & Thursday from 1:00-3:00 pm. If a holiday falls near one of those days the schedule may vary. Volunteers, donors, or recipients may call ahead to check the schedule.
The Pantry is staffed by volunteers. Everyone is treated with the utmost respect and a friendly smile from the workers. The food is collected as donations from church members, and purchased from local food banks and stores as needed.  We serve households with just one person and others with large families. Each household served also recieves a DVD of our services.

The Food Pantry is located in a seperate building beside the church, at the intersection of South Rock and Holly streets.
There is a need in our community for this service and we strive to be the hands that do the work. If you need help, or would like to help, please
